In early 2013, Adobe announced it was shutting down the CS2 activation servers. As a result, Adobe released a ‘master key’ to their CS2 programs, to allow ‘existing customers’ to continue to use the software.
The license keys released by Adobe were meant for existing CS2 customers.
The CS2 license keys and program installers are available on Adobe’s website, however I’ve put them in this article to make things easier.
Adobe stated one of the reasons for shutting down the CS2 activation servers was because “The CS2 software is incompatible with many newer operating systems”, however that can easily be worked around by running the software in compatibility mode, though I have found Audition and Photoshop CS2 to run perfectly fine on Windows 10 without compatibility mode.
I have only listed the license keys and Windows download links for Audition, Premiere Pro and Photoshop in this article, however you can obtain installers for other Adobe software, and Mac versions from Adobe’s CS2 download website. You will need to have an active Adobe account to access the page, however you do not need to have an active creative cloud subscription.

Use these keys at your own risk. These universal license keys are intended for customers who need to re-install the software. I do not recommend using these license keys if you haven’t previously purchased a license key for CS2 software.
